No WGW Knit & Natter - Saturday 7th September 2024 at the Barleycorn Inn
The Old School House is owned by Livio and Lynda Guglielmino and it is run as a bed and breakfast guest house that provides an excellent service. Located in the small village of Collingbourne Kingston, which nestles in the beautiful Bourne Valley, it is surrounded by the "big skies" and rolling chalk downs for which Wiltshire is famous. The prehistoric sites of Stonehenge, Silbury Hill and Avebury stone circle and the Cathedral Cities of Winchester and Salisbury are all within easy reach.
Wiltshire Green Woollies are proud to support another Collingbourne Kingston business, and are delighted to host our WGW Knitting & Crochet Club and our residential courses at the Old School House, in the Old School rooms themselves. In the summer, weather permitting we shall be knitting and crocheting on the Patio above the Gardens.
For knitters and crocheters staying on our residential courses, the Old School House has several comfortable and spacious guest rooms. Each is a double room with en-suite bathrooms and furnished to a high standard with comfort and convenience the main priority to ensure every guest has a comfortable stay. All the rooms have the following features to make guests feel at home:
· En-suite facilities
· Freeview Television
· Tea and Coffee making facilities
· copious storage
· Pleasant rural views
· A large garden to take a stroll
In addition to the room facilities listed above, The Old School House can accommodate those requiring wheelchair access. If wheelchair access and assistance is required, please let Livio and Lynda know when you make your reservation.
